Maybe you prefer going to a traditional Bulgarian restaurant. Chanove or Chanove 2 (meaning “the bells”) is located close to the main ski lift in Pamporovo. They have a generous selection of Bulgarian and internationally popular dishes and beverages. Enjoy a wood-fired pizza and live folk music which adds to the local atmosphere. A great place for families!
Dear Brits, if you are missing home, then the right place to visit is The Pub in the heart of the Pamprovo resort area, street level of Perelik Hotel. Challenge your mates to a game of darts as you enjoy a Guiness. In fact, proprietors Rado and Nadya will make you feel welcome with a variety of alcoholic (including cocktails) and non-alcoholic drinks, live music, and sports on satellite TV channels. Depending upon availability, you can send for a car to pick you up. It is a great place to meet up with friends or make new ones. All of this contributes to a nightlife you would not find anywhere else in Pamporovo.
You could either stay in The Pub for move to Plan B Night Club (Perelik Hotel), Dak’s Bar (Snezhanka Hotel), Night Flight (Rozhen Hotel) or Sogo Night Club (Murgavets Hotel), where you can enjoy both dance hits and some classics. These are great places to hang out with friends and meet new people. Please note that these bars and discos are usually quite crowded on Saturday nights.
Whilst out exploring the many charming and quiet villages in the area, the village of Shiroka Laka is not to be missed. Explore the main street with its quaint shops and inviting pub before settling in for a beautiful evening at Mehana, a beautiful restaurant at the Gela Spa Hotel. Enjoy some home-made food quietly by the fire. The traditional bean soup is warming and delicious. Their menu boasts a wide range of fresh, organic, slowly cooked dishes. The Proprieter Peter and his friendly staff are quick to make you feel welcome. You are encouraged to relax and take your time while you eat, drink and take in the breathtaking views of the Rhodopes through the massive windows in the dining room. However, if you want a quieter evening out, enjoy a peaceful walk from Stoikite House, down the road to either the pub in the centre or the traditional family restaurant at the bottom of Stoykite village.
Pamporovo nightlife is busy. Every restaurant, bar, pub or disco has its unique style and atmosphere. Try a new one every night!
