Families at Lift No. 6 in Stoikite
Recently, we set out to Ski Lift No. 6 in Stoikite to spend the afternoon just chatting with the skiers. What we noticed was a large number of parents with their children. There were children from babies to teens all rugged up and spending time with their mums and dads in the snow- in sledges, on skis and snowboards. They were having a great time!

Ski hire and yummy food for the whole family at Atril
We spoke to Gergana as she was busy feeding her toddler at Atril the cosy ski-hire shop/café at Lift No. 6. She explained that she and her husband were on a ski holiday with a group of friends and in order for both of them to get in some serious ski time, they agreed to take turns each day spending time with their little boy. The next day we met her husband and the baby was all rugged up and tucked into a sledge as dad pulled him around. Now that is team work!
Family fun at Stoikite, Pamporovo
We met a young lad and his dad, Kadir, from Turkey on the ski lift. Both were grinning ear-to-ear! It was their first day of the holiday and they were so excited to get up there and ski back down together. We said our goodbyes at the top and watched them hooting and laughing as they whizzed back down!
There were so many families enjoying the outdoors together! We took a walk around to the many cafes and restaurants scattered up at the top. They were warm and filled with parents attending to the business of feeding their hungry, rosy-faced children as they sat chatting and laughing together. What a great way to build family memories!
